Day 1: Departure for Tbilisi
Day 2: Tbilisi
Tbilisi sightseeing tour, visit the Old Town and the State Museum Treasury.
Day 3: Tbilisi – Kazbegi - Gudauri
A scenic drive through the Grand Caucasus will take us to the town of Kazbegi and then we walk up to Gergeti Trinity Church located at 2170m to enjoy superb views of the mountains. Overnight in Gudauri ski resort (2200m).
Day 4: Gudauri – Mt Lomisi – Arakhveti Village
Through beautiful alpine meadows we ride our horses up to Mt Lomisi (2298m). As we get to the top we see Ksani gorge on one side and Aragvi gorge on the other. We then descend to the village of Arakhveti and camp there.
Riding time – 6 hours
Day 5: Arakhveti Village - Khada Gorge – Gudauri
From Arakhveti we ride to beautiful Khada Gorge and see little mountain villages and towers on the way. In the evening we arrive in Gudauri.
Riding time – 6 hours
Day 6: Gudauri – Gori – Bakuriani
From the Grand Caucasus we drive to the Little Caucasus mountains en route visiting the town of Gori. Overnight in the hotel in Bakuriani ski resort.
Day 7: Bakuriani – Tsikhisjvari Bath – Bakuriani
A pleasant ride through virgin nature will bring us to Tsikhisjvari Bath. After taking the hot refreshing baths we return to Bakuriani.
Riding time – 5 hours
Day 8: Bakuriani – Mt Kokhta – Bakuriani
Today we ride through beautiful forests and alpine meadows up to Mt Kokhta to enjoy incredible views of the Grand Caucasus peaks: Elbrus,
Shkhara, Ushba and Kazbegi.
Riding time – 4 hours
Day 9: Bakuriani – Mitarbe Village – Tbilisi
We ride to the famous resort of Mitarbe known for its mineral waters. Then we continue our ride through forested hills to our vehicle to take us to Tbilisi.
Day 10: Departure
Transfer to the airport.
