Georgia is a country of high mountains, eternal snow and two ski resorts – Gudauri (2200m) and Bakuriani (1700m).
Located 120 km away from Tbilisi Gudauri is a popular holiday destination for Georgians and foreigners alike. The white winter landscape heals the mind and soul. The beautifully groomed ski tracks seem to have no end. Being located on the southern slope of the Caucasus, you can enjoy the sunshine all day long. The tracks are of varying length and difficulty and meet the requirements of both amateurs and professionals. The snow cover is thick and the ski season lasts from December till April. Gudauri is also one of the best centres of heli-skiing in the world.
The ski resort of Bakuriani is located near Borjomi spa town. Although the mountains here are not as high as those in Gudauri, the landscape is different, with its combination of mountains and forests creating an ideal climate for both winter and summer holidays.
